👋 Hi there! I'm Sofia, and I'm really passionate about Civil Engineering. I'm currently working as a junior engineer at A400, where I'm supporting a multidisciplinary team to create sustainable solutions in Hydraulics with engineering and technology.🌱 I'm driven and always striving to be better as an individual and a professional in my area. I thrive on solving complex problems that could potencially have an impact on society. Working in civil engineering allows me to acquire new skills and to constantly learn the latest methodologies.🏆I take pride in having an honorable mention of SPA's Bi-Anual Award (2021/2022) related to my MSc dissertation on Acoustics and in winning the Professor João Lopes Porto Award (2021/2022), for the best MSc dissertation in Building Construction. The purpose of this dissertation was to analyze the rehabilitation of the Municipal Museum Abade Pedrosa (Santo Tirso, Portugal) in order to determine in what way acoustics interfere with museum enjoyment.🎯 My aim for the future is to acquire in-depth knowledge and expertise in my field, while prioritizing my professional development and being involved in leading initiatives that drive change and innovation.
