As a recent graduate from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, I am passionate about blending my interests in biology and dance to explore the fascinating intersection of science and art. Throughout my academic journey, I have been deeply involved in the dance community, teaching and performing with the Wake Forest Dazzling Deacs Dance Team and serving on the Executive Board of the Wake Forest Dance Company.My research endeavors have led me to investigate the neuroscience of dance, a field that uniquely combines my academic and artistic passions. I have had the privilege of conducting research at Wake Forest School of Medicine, exploring the cognitive and physical benefits of dance on the brain.I am grateful for the opportunities I've had to grow as a leader, serving as Captain of the Dazzling Deacs Dance Team and contributing to the Spirit Administration. These experiences have not only strengthened my teamwork and organizational skills but also reinforced my commitment to excellence in everything I do.Looking ahead, I am excited to continue my dance and academic journey, leveraging my diverse experiences to make a positive impact in both the scientific and artistic communities.
