Advise on best practices for non-profit business operations, program management, and fund development strategies to include grant writing and reporting on behalf of the organization.

Responsible for collaborating with the grant’s director to research, develop, and write grant proposals on behalf of Martha’s Village, serving homeless people in Eastern Riverside County.

Oversee the day-to-day operations for UCPIE. Directly manage programs and services, accounting department, human resources department, information technology (IT), and assist with fund development in grant writing and its annual fundraiser, Team Freedom.

Oversee Programs and Services for UCPIE.Accomplishments: • Spearheaded the growth of UCPIE’s respite program. Under my tenure, UCPIE grew its respite revenue by 257%.• Program Development o Expanded UCPIE’s after-school program from two sites to eight sites serving 90 school aged youth with IDD. o Developed and implemented UCPIE’s adaptive bike program and Team Freedom for the Tour de Palm Springs; grew Team Freedom from one rider in 2012 to over 120 walkers/riders in 2023. UCPIE awarded 115 adaptive bikes at 5K each for $575,000.00 awarded in bikes to individuals with cerebral palsy during my tenure.o Developed UCPIE’s Family Empowerment Program in conjunction with Lizette Moreno; the family empowerment program provides facilitated counseling for caregivers/parents of individuals with IDD.o Under my direction, UCPIE partnered with Sensei Tamara Canedo to establish a para-karate program for individuals with IDD.• As programs and services grew for UCPIE, I identified and developed the skills necessary to increase UCPIE’s service capacity; this led to my promotion to Director of Operations in 2019.

Manage DesertArc’s social recreation and respite programs. I provided case management to over 300 individuals with IDD. I also provided direct supervision to 250 recreation and respite staff members. I had the unique experience of serving individuals at various life stages: children, transition-aged youth (15-22), adults, and seniors. This experience allowed me to get to know the needs of the IDD population at different life stages, which to this day guides my decisions.
