I am Portuguese and Spanish citizen with a Degree in International Relations and I have been working for Pfizer since 2002 in the Medical Department. In the Medical Department I have been given the chance to develop my skills as a Safety Administrative Assistant, being responsible for receiving and expediting safety related documentation to Local Health Authorities. From 2003 to 2008 I have assumed another position in the Medical Department, providing administrative support to the Medical Advisors Team of the five different therapeutic areas. As a Medical Advisors Assistant I was responsible for making arrangements to internal and external meetings, contacting with Medical Doctors and Institutions on the manager’s behalf in order to establish important contacts to the Company, producing scientific documentation, both in English and Portuguese, to be sent to Healthcare Providers such as Hospitals and Medical Doctors, controlling, filing and assuring the Promotional Activities were compliant to be audited at any time by the Company’s internal and external compliance authorities, among other administrative tasks. Since December 2008 I have been working directly with the Medical Director, within the Primary Care Business Unit, and I am responsible for giving administrative support to the Medical Director and the Medical Scientific Relations team.
