A game UX designer who firmly believes that best UX is often accomplished when creativity and passion is allowed to shine through and players are surprised and delighted. Currently working in a new game project at Rovio. I have been lucky to see the project develop from the very first idea to the state where it is today and help shape and develop the holistic vision for the game as something that all players can enjoy. My day-to-day work consists of:- Following-up and providing feedback to team members working in different parts of the game to maintain a holistic and coherent experience- Running the development of new mechanic visuals, maintaining related framework and seeing the UX vision is consistently applied- Developing easy-to-understand heuristics and guidelines- Collaborating with UXR, planning what to study and analyzing PTC-videos- Collaborating with analysts, planning what metrics are needed to understand player behaviors- Running internal surveys for the team about new features and mechanics- Creating wireframes and design specs for new featuresDuring my time in the team we have been able to lift UX related topics to the every-day vocabulary of the team and demonstrate what is the value of paying attention to the experience of each individual player.
