e-DCM (electronic Distributor Channel Monitoring) is an online service used by suppliers and wholesale distributors in the supply chain. Suppliers using the service gain access to valuable information on their distributors' sales,whereas distributors are enabled to mine their sales data and report valuable insights according to parameters such as brand, customers, region etc.As an e-DCM service consultant, my main duties include:communication with the distributors chosen by the supplier, to inform them about the way the service is set up and works, the available solutions for capturing their data and consulting on reaching the decision as to which way works best for them.Implementation of the solution chosen for the integration of the eDCM service with the system and database in the distributor side, employing processes that filter and collect only the necessary part of the data.mapping product and customer codes in between the supplier and distributor database, so that information is translated accordingly before reported to both ends.service monitoring and support, mainly including controls for the continuous flow of data, missing mappings for new product and company codes and missing sales (invoices).
