Worked on projects in the Attachment and Neurodevelopment Lab under Dr. Sohye Kim, studying the neurobiology of mother-infant attachment. The lab is located in the Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women/Children’s Nutrition Research Center.

Obtained 40 hours of shadowing experience under the guidance of Dr. Erin Gottlieb and a team of anesthesiologists, as well as surgeons, CRNAs, and cardiologists, in the operating room, radiology suites, and cardiac cath labs. Observed procedures including MRIs, a laparoscopic appendectomy, an aortic valve repair, pacemaker placements, and a repair of transposition of great arteries
