About Sofia Torres

As a recent graduate from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering (BChE) , and minors in sustainable energy technology and environmental engineering, I look forward to applying everything I have learned to the professional opportunities that lie ahead. I have experience in energy modeling as well as R&D for energy conversion projects. I am now working as a Mechanical Systems Engineer in Houston, Texas as a part of Siemens Energy’s Engineering Management Acceleration Program (EMAP). This is the first of my three 1 year rotations that I will be completing as an EMAP.
