She then delved into the world of design education, joining the faculty of the USC School of Architecture and later becoming the Creative Director of MADWORKSHOP. Her efforts on emergency stabilization housing won a Fast Company World Changing Ideas Award and culminated in the book Give Me Shelter.Her work in architecture, interior design, construction, and education gives Sofia a unique understanding and mastery in what can feel like an overwhelming marketplace.
