This week I have had the distinct pleasure of beginning my Summer 2024 internship with Capstone Building Corp. I am so excited to see what the next 12 weeks hold for myself and the amazing people on the job that I am so grateful to be a part of. It has only been 4 days and I’m already learning so much and making countless meaningful connections thanks to Capstone. Here’s to an amazing summer!! P.S. my dog Chip is loving it too!

I have the opportunity to work seasonally as a holiday decorator/catering assistant where I get to take advantage of my creative side to produce extravagant displays tailored to customer requests and create meaningful client relationships.

As a recent summer job I took on the role as a bartender at one of the most popular establishments amongst UA students. Throughout my time at Rounders I strengthened my ability to use effective time management, learned to be both efficient and detailed in fulfilling requests, and learned to provide effective customer service skills in often difficult situations.

For the summer following highschool graduation I spent most of my time as a barnhand at a local equestrian facility. While there I was able to maintain favorable relationships with both the horses and their owners, carry out strict routines and detailed regimens(such as medications and feedings), and keep up with a relatively labor-intensive job. As a senior in highschool I was able to work as an intern for RMG, a medical technologies company. While there, I spent most of my time as an administrative assistant where I took on excess workload or unfinished tasks. Some of these opportunities included effectively communicating with customers, maintaining patient confidentiality, learning computer softwares and making claims against insurance either online or by phone.
