I was born in Boston, Massachusetts but grew up in San Antonio, Texas. I love visiting my family in Guatemala and love going on adventures there. When I am not in school, I love to play tennis with my friends or see the latest horror movie. I enjoy traveling, but I've only been to a few countries so far, them being Guatemala, Mexico, France, and England. Some of my biggest strengths are my adaptability, my openness to communication, and my creativity. Being a marketing major, I know that these skills are extremely important in my future career, that is why I plan to hone them to my greatest ability at the University of Texas at Dallas. Being the child of an immigrant has taught me to see the world from a different lense. My dad has shown me how to interact with people from all walks of life, how to be persistent in my endeavors, and how to open my mind to new outlets of creativity. My hopes for my future would be to pursue a career in something like social media marketing or maybe even the movie or music industries. I hope to prove myself as an ambitious scholar and career woman, and while I don't have much experience yet, I am so willing to learn!
