Responsibilities: Project management and long-distance manager of Bangladesh Step Up team (4 officers), stakeholder engagement, facilitator and trainer at capacity building workshops and management seminars in CSR management and productivity improvements, follow-up meetings with factory managements, financial controlling, monitoring, evaluating and reporting. Step Up Project in Bangladesh - Responsible Production as a Business Driver - is a partnership between Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Danish textile and fashion associations: Dansk Fashion & Textile (Lead), Danish Chamber of Commerce / WEAR and Danish Fashion Institute. The project has been financed by Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Danida.The Step Up project has built capacity for productivity and CSR improvements in Bangladeshi garment factories. The factories have improved their CSR and productivity performance by implementing productivity tools and CSR management systems for continuous improvements. Furthermore, capacity of consultants has been built in BGMEA for future promotion of strategic CSR based on international guidelines.

Gaang has become completely mercury-free and T'boli has reduced 60-80%,- increase knowledge about the health implications of mercury among health care workers, miner associations, school children and local communities,- improving organizational capability of partner Ban Toxics.
