TENA, the market leader in incontinence, still carries a great taboo. Did you know that 1 out of 4 women (and men!) above the age of 40 suffer from incontinence? And did you know that often there is a solution (besides incontinence products), but most people are afraid to talk about it? Because of this, many people don't find their way to the right products. On top of that, we have a market that is under pressure from Private Label and other competitor brands that benefit from menstruation products that are not suited for incontinence.That is where my main task lies: breaking the taboo, informing & educating women & men, offering them a platform to ask questions, discuss, and open up to family and friends. In the end, they will find their way to TENA. The end goal for TENA is to increase penetration and link consumers to our brand as soon as possible, and then keep them, of course.How do we break the taboo?Create a media plan based on the provided marketing plans by the brand manager that fits their KPIs. Media plans consist of:- TV, digital activations on META & YouTube, contextual display, footfall activations, cinema, influencer marketing, print, editorials, out of home, product placement, etc.- Set up extensive sampling campaigns with media support (paid social & search)- Set up a Cash Back platform to generate trials- Loyalty campaign: Newsletters every 2 months + an onboarding flow for new entrants- SEA campaigns- Building a Facebook community for both TENA Women & MenTo realize the above tasks, I work closely with:- Media buying agencies- Digital activation specialists- Agencies & copywriters specialized in newsletters...This role is an international role with stakeholders across Europe. I'm responsible for the development of media plans in both Belgium & The Netherlands. Careful project & budget planning are my main strengths in this role.
