In the Global Account Manager role, I am focused on one of our globally prioritized account, a client within the Private Equity sector. The nature of the client is very complex due to the fast-paced environment and large amount of portfolio companies. One of my initial tasks was to evaluate the way of working, the processes, and the value of the tasks to create an efficient operating model for the account. I have created a more structured way of working and ensured that we delegate work in an appropriate way, as well as having clear processes for tasks and responsibilities that are performed on a regular basis. This also includes the creation and continued development of a high-level account plan to ensure the correct focus as well as keeping flexibility and allowing time for ad-hoc activities such as proposals, events and facilitation of workshops and trainings. In addition, I am looking into what tools that can be used in the team to work more efficiently. I am also supporting the teams in the negotiation and creation of agreements, providing analyzes and ensuring the account maintain the independence requirements that comes as an audit firm.The delegation of tasks is mainly done to our Account Coordinators in India but also to local teams. In the delegation I am also working to coach my team to develop their skills and knowledge. The essential part for me in coaching is to understand the person's goals and ambitions and encourage to try new things and come with new ideas.

Nordic Advisory Learning Deployment Specialist

The role as Nordic Advisory Learning Deployment Specialist included two main parts, projects for learning events and the day to day activities within learning, to ensure continuous development of the Consulting department.The projects were related to events that includes 30 to 800 people and ran for 3 to 10 days. Each event ran 1-2 times a year and my responsibilities included planning, content, budgeting, coordination with stakeholders and the actual deployment of the program. The decision of the role in the project was made in collaboration with my closest colleague to ensure the we divided the workload. One of my proudest achievements with our programs is that I managed to get the Nordic organization onboard to make the programs more sustainable by changing the locations to be able to offer more environmental modes of transportation, looking into the food and drinks options and cleaning of the hotel. In addition to the projects I was also involved in the day to day work of learning activities, which included the overall strategy for Learning & Development, digitalization of the learning agenda, stakeholder management, overall budget, communication and nomination of talents to EMEIA and global learning events. During the spring 2020 we had to speed up the digitalization of our trainings. The biggest challenge was to change the mindset of the employees. We managed to successfully continue deploy high quality trainings and learning events by redesigning them from physical courses to a mix of eLearnings and virtual classrooms that focused on discussions, exercises and networking.Aside the projects and daily activities I have also facilitated several classes within project management, proposal process, Tracom’s The Social Style Model and in the introduction program for graduates. The content in the introduction program includes basic management consulting tools such as problem solving and process mapping, as well as communication, teaming and wellbeing.
