During this position I had the purpose of planning and managing waste flows effectively in all time horizons, while optimizing waste mix. I had the role of contributing to tactical planning through the S&OP process to provide information of waste balances (short & long term), and to align S&OP process to demand forecasting process. I have been accountable of the following:• Build, maintain and operate planning routines, to secure optimized waste inflow considering treatment and storage capacity as well as waste mix. • Storage: Monitor and control inventory. Do monthly inventory and report to Finance.• Establish and provide information for all functions regarding waste balances. Support waste pricing.• Establish and structure data in such a manner it was made available for analyses and decision making.• Implementation and follow-up on relevant KPI’s• Support fuel: Monitor and control support fuel balance (volumes and value).

During this position I have had the role of supporting Supply Chain with reports, several recurring tasks combined with a variety of ad hoc analysis in Excel. I have developed strong analytical skills, an eye for detail and become a super-user in Excel by juggling big data sheets. My main tasks were:- Update of exisiting reports in Excel - Data support to Supply Chain - Documenting data and stored procedures (e.g. documenting the portfolio of BI reports)- Help to secure local projects

Here I had the role of supporting the S&OP team with recurring reports in MS Excel. During this position I have developed strong analytical skills while having a great eye for detail and understanding of data.

My internship at LINAK involved two business cases. The first was cost reduction of packaging materials where I focused on data analysis of purchase and stock to identify potential improvements. The second case was a process optimization of the internal logistics where the focus was analysis of the current state of the material flow. The process was optimized through a kaizen event.I continued at LINAK to finish my bachelor's degree, a business case on a sustainable supply chain solution for packaging materials with focus on sustainability calculations.
