Migrated this application from a VB6/COM+ architecture to C# service oriented architecture. Managed the implementation and rollout of Point of Sale system to the PaperPlus retail stores (PaperPlus is a division of Unisource World Wide, Inc.). I was responsible for managing the project from the initial planning to implementation. I was also responsible for leading a team of developers in the designing and coding of software needed to integrate the Point of Sale system with the rest of the company's existing infrastructure.Developed an intranet application that integrates our enterprise issue tracking software with MS Team Foundation Server using ASP. NET, C#, SQL, and XML. This application gave our users a way of entering software bugs directly into Team Foundation Server, or exporting an existing issue in the issue tracking system to a TFS bug. This made it possible for our software development team to adopt the MSF Process Model. This was an important step to improving the quality of software our team produces.
