I worked with a department that gives Mechanical Engineering and design support to multiple divisions spread globally across the USA, Germany, CZ and India. I got to work on two projects here (Statistical tolerancing and Fatigue Failure Prediction). Responsibilities:• Reading about and understanding certain Mechanical Engineering concepts.• Finding suitable methods that can be used to solve the problem given.• Developing tools using python that employ the methods and give necessary results. Achievements:• Successfully built Statistical Tolerancing tools for multiple teams.• Reduced execution time of the tool from 25 minutes to 1 second.• Successfully identified suitable features and methods that can be used to predict Fatigue Failure.• Created a fairly accurate ML based Fatigue Failure Prediction tool as Proof of Concept.

Aero Club is the official aeromodelling club in Bangalore Institute of Technology. It is a platform for its members to learn about and participate in activities related to the design and fabrication of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).Responsibilities:• Designing and building UAVs, learning more about them in the process.• Recruiting students with compatible interests into the club.• Helping the recruits learn about the design process, fabrication techniques and related principles.• Handling the day-to-day operations of the club, delegating duties whenever possible. Achievements:• Got the club more structured and organized making its operations more fluid, hence making the club more sustainable.• Grew the club into a 25 member team and helped them learn, so that they can sustain and grow the club in the future.

I tutored a class 7 student for a year. I had to prepare lesson plans and come up with creative means to teach and motivate the student. This experience improved my teaching and communication skills along with my patience and persistence.
