I oversee, lead the design, quality control, business development and project management across all programmes at InsightShare with particular focus on our clients and partners in international development, humanitarian sector, universities and research institutions.

I oversee key areas of innovation at InsightShare, including the use of participatory video in M&E, research, ethical communication and humanitarian contexts. I am in charge of project and business development, managing a large programmatic portfolio. I sit on the organisation’s senior management team.Some of my responsibilities include: design, management and quality control of projects; supporting our partners and clients to innovate through tailor-made projects, trainings or capacity building; design and facilitation of workshops and trainings face to face, online or blended; mentoring and coaching team members, clients and Associates; representing InsightShare in events and key sector meetings; internal management.Some of the key skills required: strategic and entrepreneurial skills to develop new initiatives; organisational skills and ability to multi-task; strong facilitation skills and ability to create collaborative environments; applied knowledge for adult non-formal education methods and theories; online and offline facilitation; bilingual work in English and Spanish; strong understanding of capacity building, M&E, participation, gender, programmatic design and research.

Participatory Video for Monitoring & Evaluation Programme strategy, management and innovation.I oversee the development and implementation of all InsightShare’s projects and programmes related to Participatory Video (PV) applied to Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, as well as Participatory Video in research, working alongside clients and partners including the UN and major international development agencies.I sit on the organisation’s senior management team and I am responsible for the team of project managers and facilitators delivering PV M&E as well as research projects.I publish and present on a range of subjects surrounding participatory video methods and practice, including the recent publication of a guide on Participatory Video and Most Significant Change.

Participatory analysis of photovoice research data produced by young migrants in four locations in Spain. Design of framework of analysis and support to the lead facilitator Ingrid Guyon on the backend design and preparations in relation to data analysis. All work was carried out in Spanish for client Save The Children Spain.

Review about climate change and environment and its nexus with conflict involving partner organisations in Latin America, South Sudan and Maghreb region, supporting the lead consultant Silva Ferretti.

I provide support to PEN International in the development and delivery of a series of capacity building webinars for PEN Centres under the Civil Society Programme. The webinars largely focus on developing Centres’ skills on the project cycle including planning, budgeting and financial reporting, gender and diversity mainstreaming, fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, protection solutions for writers at risk and youth engagement. The webinars are held in English and Spanish. I lead the online facilitation of the Spanish webinars focused on the needs of Latin American PEN Centres.

Co-researcher in the external final evaluation of the global programme No News is Bad News, supporting leading evaluators Mary Myers and Nicola Harford with documents analysis, interviews and surveys in Spanish to evaluate Latin American countries. The programme is lead by Free Press Unlimited alongside European Journalism Centre and country partners in 21 countries around the world.

Evaluation of WACC’s Development Initiatives Programme 2016-20, which was carried out by a team of three independent consultants: Nicola Harford, Mary Myers and Soledad Muniz. The evaluation is a requirement of WACC’s funding from the German organization Bread for the World, and took place August to November 2019. WACC is a non-governmental organisation that builds on communication rights in order to promote social justice. It provides guidance, funding and support to people of all faiths, ethnicities, and cultures worldwide. It has members in 120 countries, and a secretariat in Toronto, Canada.I was a co-researcher looking at the experiences of two grantees in Colombia, which included fieldwork, analysis and case studies.

Evaluation of PEN International’s work since 2014, carried out by a team of three independent consultants: Mary Myers, Nicola Harford and Soledad Muniz. The evaluation was a requirement of PEN's core grant from the Swedish government and took place from May to November 2018. PEN International is a worldwide association of writers, founded in London in 1921 to promote friendship and intellectual co-operation among writers everywhere. There are independent PEN centres in over 100 countries working to protect writers at risk, promote freedom of speech and translation and minority language rights.I led the Latin American research and interviews in particular, and an in-depth case study for Argentina in bilingual format.

The new Members’ Executive Board is composed of Network members who have volunteered to dedicate time and effort to lead the Network in 2015, with the aim of making this body an elected one for all membership by 2016. The initial 2015 members of the MEC have been identified during the Planning Day in January 2015, and are drawn from former Advisory Board members as well as key longstanding members who have played a strong role in establishing the UK chapter. The MEC will now lead the strategic direction of the Network, in consultation with the Advisory Board, Members’ Working Groups and the Secretariat. Each member of the MEC will also mentor a Network Regional Hub during this year of initial development.

The C4D Network is a social network of peers who are engaged in the field of ‘communication for development’. We focus on how communication processes and tools can be used to advance development objectives. The Network is membership-based, and it operates both online - through a thriving social network platform - and offline - through regional and national meet-ups and groups initiated by members. An Advisory Board has been established in June 2013. Advisory Board members have been selected by the team based on their expertise and reputation in the C4D sector, and their sustained engagement and championing of the Network since it was founded in 2007.
