Ciloa is a CRO research founded in March 2011 by Robert Mamoun, a research director at the INSERM Institute. This company is located in Montpellier and employs 7 scientists.Ciloa technology is based on the discovery of a signal peptide that allows the secretion, outside of cells, of membrane proteins inserted in the membrane of natural nanovesicles called exosomes. With this technology, it is possible to produce native membrane proteins in a concentrated form outside the cell.
