Hello! I’m Somya, but go by Somi for short. I’m an industrial engineer with 9+ years of experience in supply chain, business operations, portfolio / program management, and data science. Additionally, I'm passionate about DEI involvement and have 4+ years of experience in various ERG leadership roles.My experiences span from leading strategic business planning and chief-of-staff responsibilities, to persuasive storytelling and driving action-oriented execution. I’ve worked in a multitude of industries: retail, finance, entertainment, consumer goods, and technology.I enjoy complex problem solving, building structure within ambiguity, process development, and analytical thinking. My ideal type of work is challenging, fast-paced, and collaborative.In the fall of 2022, I started school at Parsons School of Design in a dual program between fashion design and fashion business.
