I assist in the essential functions of the Senate office, covering issues related to the dance community, Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment (SVSH) prevention, finance, menstrual equity, and student equity. I facilitate and lead department meetings, advise department executives, plan and lead events, communicate and hold meetings with a variety of clubs on campus, attend Senate meetings, and more. Our office leadership, including myself, is also essential in brainstorming and creating new projects for the rest of the office to work on. I am always available and flexible to take on any task at hand for the office.

I coordinate and lead the Cal Ballet & Books chapter of mentors, connecting with the greater Berkeley community to close the literary gap and offer more exposure to performing arts. I oversee the weekly mentoring sessions, where kids are mentored one-on-one in literary and given a dance class. I work with the national team to coordinate national fundraisers, events, and more on the UC Berkeley campus. I lead weekly board meetings, plan sessions, and correspond with parents and the public library, always seeking ways to improve our organization. Finally, I take care of finance and campus relations as the a Student Organization on campus.

Worked primarily on arts and culture projects, planning arts events for the Council President and working through city mural and art approvals. Additionally assisted in writing press releases, briefings for the Council President and office, doing field work, and working with the City Hall team. Primarily worked at the District Field Office in North Hollywood.

Coordinated, planned, and facilitated events for Senator Ponna's office, especially related to the Berkeley Dance Community and dance clubs. Represented Senator Ponna at these events and led the events.

As part of the District Office staff, we had to be flexible and handle any impromptu task given to us on short notice, including constituent calls and case work. Long-term assignments included: heading coordination of updates to constituent database, fielding calls and recording feedback as constituent liaison, conducting community research, and staying coordinated with Sacramento staff. On top of this, I put together an outline and draft of a new multi-media newsletter project to be used by the Assemblymember for better communication with his constituents.
