I hold a Bachelor's degree Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. I have two previous internship experiences. I worked at a small alternative fuel engine company called Power Solutions International, and there I focused on time studies and assembly line rebalancing. The second internship was located in Wuxi, China at Perkins Power Systems Technology (subsidiary of Caterpillar). There, I performed engine simulation studies using MATLAB. Additionally, I have completed two semester-long coding projects through my IE coursework. During my senior design project, my team designed a new project management system for TVS Motor Company, a two-wheeled vehicle manufacturer based in Bangalore, India. Throughout this assignment, I helped develop the algorithm which optimized the completion of projects while ensuring employees are not being overutilized. During my masters, I worked on maintaining a virtual teaching assistant (called Jill Watson) through the Design & Intelligence Laboratory (DILab). My work more specifically focused on deploying and maintaining Jill on a new 1-on-1 chatbot interface system as well as creating a data automation collection system for evaluation metrics. Currently, I work as a data scientist at Jain Trading Strategies. In my role, I use data metrics to develop new rules and optimize profitable trades.
