Sonal is an Associate Director with KPMG Singapore. She has over 14+ years of experience spanning across Know Your Customer/Client (KYC) or Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Third Party, AML/CFT and high risk assessments, forensic and transaction monitoring engagements across multiple industries and jurisdictions. In her current role, she leads internal KYC practice for client onboarding while closely liaising with first line of business to drive effective risk management.She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS). Prior to KPMG Singapore, Sonal established KYC practice for Singapore and the United Kingdom (UK) for KGS India and also had a considerable experience of working with direct tax team and assisting clients in transfer pricing, with KPMG India.
