• Designed, coded, tested and implemented an in-house expense cost maintenance system, including the table-driven menus and data entry/edit screens which inserted/updated to the Oracle tables. • Completed extensive coding in C for data summary processes that summarized and crunched the monthly data into smaller tables for reporting purposes. • Wrote korn-shell scripts to check the incoming files in the landing zone and kick-off processes to load the data, notifying the on-call production support individual for any missing files. • Created NDM connect direct scripts to maintain incoming and outgoing files. Notable achievement while in the position included:- Successfully automated the processes on the AIX operating system from operator submitting jobs to auto execute using cron scheduling, helping the company use it resources more efficiently and saving money from buying 3rd party tools.- Optimized the existing ETL processes, enhancing their performance by rearranging the scheduling without impacting the business service level agreement.
