-Attended 30 hours of initial training and 12 hours of ongoing trainings like Mandated Reporter training, The Ripple Effects of Trauma training, Alleviating the effects of Trauma on the child training and "Preventing Child Neglect: It’s More than a Family Matter" training. These trainings provided me with the knowledge of being trauma sensitive and increased my empathy towards the traumatized minors.- Through home visits and school visits established rapport with child, school staff and other members of the family and also assessed the safety of the home environment.- Coordinated with other agencies for services for the child like counseling, tutoring etc.- Worked very closely with Case Manager and GAL to improve the lives of the child and Family so we could achieve permanency in their lives.- Was the eyes of the court and provided in-depth court reports to ascertain the best interest and well being of the child.

The Art of Living is a multi-faceted organisation with one of the largest volunteer bases in the world. The international headquarters is located in Bangalore, India. Globally, the organisation operates as The Art of Living Foundation formed in 1989 in the United States of America and in Germany. Since then, local centres have been established across the world. In the Art of Living's organisational structure, there is a board of trustees with a term of two years. Two thirds of the trustees change every two years. All the Art of Living teachers and the previous trustees are allowed to nominate a new board. There is a provision for an advisory board that monitors and guides the organisation. All the accounts are regularly audited by an external auditor. Other than expenses, no trustee is entitled to benefits in terms of salary, etc.Art of Living programs directly help to fund its humanitarian projects. The proceeds from the sales of The Art of Living Publications and Ayurveda products are also directed to our social initiatives.

-Under guidance of Supervisor, identified service resource needs of clients like finding foster home, coordinating parent and sibling visits.- Assisted families in implementing individual service plan, including following up on mental health and domestic abuse assessments and classes.- Assisted with performing a variety of case management functions; namely home visits, Administrative Case Reviews, Staffing, Attending Court.- Learned how to prepare documents related to case management like home visit notes, case notes, service plans etc.- Worked individually with high-risk youth to stabilize placement to ensure appropriate service provision.- Attended several trainings and seminars like court testimony training, Quality Parenting Initiative, and Human Trafficking training. These trainings helped me to get a better understanding of the child welfare system, including the legal processes, risks faced by youth in care,-Through shadowing and observation of other workers,learned interview skills to build rapport with clients in order to achieve the permanency goal.

- Through regimented testing procedures assessed Math and Reading levels to ensure proper placement. - Coordinated with school staff and E.nopi teachers to develop their weekly lesson plans.- Made recommendations and referrals for students who we could not service.- Tutored and mentored using many alternative techniques to assist students in achieving maximum academic standards.- Responsible for the running of the Franchise including hiring of teachers, marketing,accounting, billing and counseling parents on educational issues with children.
