I am a die cut operator on individual machines, working with aluminum cup tops such as Pringle’s or keurig coffee and more that have multiple shapes and sizes depending on the order. I will make minor adjustments if needed to the machine to each change of flavor. Proper paper work is filled out and information is researched on the computer on each order before starting ready to be packaged into sleeves and placed into boxes for shipment. I’ve been a regular trainer for new recruiters for the past 6 years.

I have worked various positions in the last 12 years in printing. From General Helper, Quality Control, Rollwoman, to helper in Cylinders. It is all hands on work and quality checking. Heavy lifting, washing units and ink pumps by taking pieces apart to get washed and putting them back together. Help The Cylinder person prepare jobs. Help with set-ups on the presses. Distilling solvents, cleaning and refilling when ready. Maintenance and cleaning the washer area when needed and during set ups on the presses. Giving training to new comers.Working with the wrapper machine to wrap carton packages is required when size change is needed.A roll woman's responsibility is to assure inks are always filled in the pumps, carton rolls are ready for next splice, remove unneeded covering off rolls, assure the right information is put in the computer, and the following jobs are ready for set-ups. Quality control tests were done when needed on every job, information and paper work was filled, and checked quality of the finished product.
