• Project Manager for four preparedness based IT systems for the State of Kansas, which were funded through CDC and HHS federal grants. Required system development, user training, and federal reporting and grant compliance. Over 1,000 total end users.• Project Manager for achieving the CDC Direct Alerting Public Health Information Network (PHIN) certification for the Health Alert Network system for the State of Kansas.• Served as Project Lead for enrolling more than 500 new users in the KDHE web-based Emergency Operations Center system.• Project Lead for enrolling and training over 200 new users in the Kansas Countermeasure Response Administration (KS-CRA) system during the outbreak of H1N1influenza. This allowed all federal- and state-owned medical countermeasures to be electronically tracked from the federal to the local level.• Project Lead on writing and submission of 2011 CDC Public Health Preparedness grant, which included grant writing, managing contributing writers, editing, calculating and completing budget allocations for 104 local health departments and the state health department, and submitting the grant. • Contributing writer on 2011 CDC Public Health Infrastructure Grant.• Writer for FY09 and FY10 HHS ESAR-VHP special grants and the 2010 MRC Special Award to States funding opportunity.
