• Responsible for coordinating specialty care services for all Church Health and MEMPHIS Plan patients. Coordinated services include diagnostic testing, onsite subspecialty clinics, external subspecialty referrals, and women’s health services generated from over 70,000 patient encounters.• Responsible for reporting departmental strategic goals aligned with organizational goals.• Developed and implemented a plan to recruit, orient and maintain relations with specialty care physicians. Serve as the liaison between Church Health and approximately 400 physicians that provide specialty care to Church Health patients. Addresses issues, improve efficiency and procure resources in order to provide quality patient care. Specialty clinics have increased to include 20 different subspecialties comprised of 40 onsite volunteer specialty physicians. • Manage daily operations and administrative support for a staff of 9 FTE and 2-4 interns. Focus on timely access to specialty care services, computerized provider order (CPOE) and exchange of electronic health information. Created, trained and implemented workflows with internal organizational staff and external customers.• Created departmental training manual, orient and conduct departmental training of new hires and seasoned staff of all clinical lines.• Manage donated pathways through hospital networks and charity care.• Prepare monthly utilization reports for onsite specialty clinics and external clinics for donated charity care pathways. Review, analyze and present for leadership teams and share with external leadership in strategic meetings
