I work with a team called 'Intraday analytics', we process billions of ticks(data from stocks) coming in everyday.- Added caching to existing system to avoid processing ticks redundantly.- I worked on migration of old database to new making sure that the current services are unaffected by the migration, while doing sanity checks to make sure that the data migrated is correct and latest.- Currently working on improving the existing analytics system to be more efficient and fast.I mainly use C++ for the backend. Some python for prototyping. On rare days it can be javascript.
