I work with all the department heads on marketing and registration for their programs. In July 2021 I played an essential role in getting a second branch of our organization open. This includes physically getting the facility ready and set up, hiring and training new staff, marketing of the new addition, and dedicating time in my everyday duties to maintaining the new facility and adapting to all the changes and possibilities it has to offer the community.

Intern
The event raises money for veterans who are suffering from PTSD and terminal brain injuries. We put on an ice show featuring olympic athletes, a hockey tournament, and a parade. I was an intern for the ice show and parade portions of the event. For the parade i helped contact and invite participants to be in the parade. On event day I signed in all participants, sent them on their way for the parade, and met and directed them at the end of the parade. As an ice show intern I helped invite participants to skate in the show including a few Olympic athletes. The day of the event I helped sign in participants and directed them to locker rooms, served as point of contact for all skating team participants, made sure all participants got to ice for practice and show slots, and helped clean and transition rink between events. I was also in charge of the elite athletes which included transporting them to and from the airport and their hotel and catering to whatever they needed while they were at our event. E-Board Director
Run4Fun is a UMass student run club that goes to local elementary schools and puts on a running program during their recess time to motivate kids to be more active. I volunteered every day for the 3 week fall program at one of the schools as the head coach in the 2013 fall program. I was in charge of about 3 or 4 other UMass student volunteers each day, I kept tally of all the laps run by the students and put them into a spreadsheet and emailed the information to the club director as well as the teachers so they could post them in their classrooms and motivate their students. I took over as club director in the spring of 2014. I was in charge of everything to do with the volunteers and head coaches including scheduling times, days, and location that they were volunteering. I was also in charge of getting club goals done for the next fall's program, notifying volunteers of any schedule changes, and scheduling and running volunteer and e-board meetings. In spring of 2015 the e-board started planning to produce a second event, a field day of events, for the spring semester that the kids could do with their parents so that the kids can get excited about us coming back in the fall and that the parents could see what we do firsthand. This event will be run annually starting in spring 2016.
Intern
Worked on all aspects of producing the company's ice show, Ice Dreams 2014, which took place in September in the brand new facility Twin Rinks on Long Island NY. Some of these responsibilities included sending out confirmation emails to skaters who signed up, writing emails to businesses asking for donations and sponsors, writing emails to newspapers and media companies to get ads of our event published, running the events Facebook and Instagram pages, and inviting groups to come skate in and watch the show. On the day of the show I served as the assistant backstage manager and got all participants to where they were suppose to be at the right times. I also helped with other company tasks such as writing bios for clients.
Booth Operator
Full time summer job where I checked guests in and out of the campground, sold firewood and ice, rented out boats, operated beach booth on weekends, did campground site checks, rented out pavilions, oversaw activities for kids on weekends, and helping customers with anything they needed including contacting the maintenance staff. I also opened up the booth for the morning shift which included transferring the money from the office to the booth, unlocking the booth, office, wood shed, and ice container, putting up the flags, and turning on computer equipment. For the night shift I closed down the booth for the night shift including a cash-out, locking up the booth, office, money, wood shed, and ice container, and taking down the flags.
Director Of Volunteers
I was one of 15 people on the directors board. The directors board met regularly and had meetings on everyone's progress. I was in charge of designing the role and creating the job requirements for the future volunteer coordinators. As part of this I recruited 100 plus volunteers, answered all volunteer emails, kept a spreadsheet of all volunteer information, met with the race head director and assigned each volunteer a job, ran a volunteer meeting, organized catering for the volunteers for race morning, and oversaw all volunteers on race day.
