Working in a Senior position as a Business Development Team Leader I work directly with the Regional Operations Manager and the Garda World Director in the planning and execution of missions at the highest level for International clients such as the World Bank, Lockheed Martin and the British Council. The BD TL manages and runs the Operations room and staff. Coordination of multiple PSD teams throughout Southern Iraq. Baghdad

Mobilised and assisted on a stand up of a new commercial contract in Baghdad. Supported in the training and development of a full local national team with no prior PSC experience to a high level. On Project Dalton duties consisted of providing security to civilian personnel in support of the Long Range Radar programme between Lockheed Martin and the Iraqi Air Defence. Responsible for the security and safety of the client’s during vehicle moves, working areas and living accommodation to ensure a secure and safe working environment at all times. The contract was based out of a public hotel in Baghdad where high standards of discipline and professional standards were expected and delivered at all times.

Baghdad

Assistant team leader responsible for providing armed escorts to personnel in Baghdad including red zone vehicle missions. This was in support of the Office of Security Cooperation-Iraq (OSC-I), high ranking US Army officers and civilian clients. On Project Symphony we were required to conduct many Air Missions in support of DOD throughout Iraq. This involved flying on a private chartered plane with clients from Baghdad to Nasiriyah in the south of Iraq. Once in Nasiriyah with the support with the Iraqi Army the team would coordinate a vehicle move using the IA and their vehicles to the task location. The mission required a high level of planning, coordination and experience due to the various departments and nationalities involved.

During my service i deployed on many front line operational tours coving Helmand province Afghanistan, Basra Palace and the COB in Iraq and Northern Ireland. Qualified in multiple disciplines including Infantry Tactics, Regimental Signals Juniors (RSJ), Regimental Signals instructor (RSI), GPS instructor, Rural & Urban Advance search and multiple medical courses.
