Assist TRICARE beneficiaries with the military health care program, including benefits, claims, eligibility, accessing care and problem resolution.Assist with the development and dissemination of TRICARE marketing and educational information, including written and visual material, oral presentations, and participation in health and wellness events. Takes the appropriate measures to ensure patient/family members/visitors confidentiality and privacy (HIPPA) during interactions. Using the Consolidated Health Care System (CHCS) and Defense Enrollment Eligibility System (DEERS) to determine eligibility for all patients. Knowledgeable of TRICARE policies and procedures and supervisory and management procedures. Knowledge of the Healthcare Delivery systems, pertaining to appointing. Knowledge of independently handling most problems and making sound recommendations. Knowledge of TRICARE regulations, policies, and guidance related to the TRICARE program, appointing services, and the contract administrations. Performs other duties as assigned.
