About Sonya Starr
I have integrated social justice advocacy into my professional life for the past two decades, -- both as the rabbi of a progressive congregation and as a volunteer. Having completed two decades of service to Columbia Jewish Congregation (CJC), I have now turned my full attention to seeking a professional position in a setting where social justice is the primary mission. I am excited by my new position as Policy Director at the Housing Alliance Delaware. In addition, I will continue to consult, and teach about diversity, equity, and inclusion both from a secular and Jewish point of view.
