For the past 4 years, I have been within the New Build Sector as a Finishing Foreman/Customer Care/Assistant Site Manager, dealing with internal works from 2nd fix, through to completion. Managing my own small teams of trades. Liaising with my Client, Site Team, NHBC & Building Control. Maintaining site presentation and reporting any H&S issues to Site Manager. Prior to this, for the past 11 years, I have been working within Social Housing as a Resident Liaison Officer. Again, managing a small group of trades and liaising with Client and Site Teams.Please see below, a reference from my last Contracts Manager:-For the information of whomever it may concern,Sonya was brought into our Robbins Hall project in Enfield as a Finishing Manager. The site comprised 14 Houses and 44 Flats and Sonya was give the responsibility of taking them from Decorations through to Handover. Whilst this may sound a straightforward task, it was not, as the sequencing of the project, particularly relating to service connections, as well as some untimely obstacles such as leaks meant this was a constant juggling act.Sonya managed this juggling act brilliantly. She was a breath of fresh air to a challenging project and her performance really stood out. I do not hesitate to say that the job would not have finished on time without her and the value of her contribution was enormous. Her collaborative way of working brings the best out of the subcontractors and her colleagues alike.
