About Sonya Mansour

I am an inventor at my core. Hear me out…Remember that commercial on tv that would ask you “Do you have an idea for an invention or new product?” As a kid, I was always tinkering with things and taking them apart to figure out why they were no longer working or how I could recreate the piece that was broken. The satisfaction I got from fixing something was immeasurable. Every time the inventor commercial came on I would imagine one day becoming the person with the bright ideas, inventing things, and then seeing those ideas come to life.Fast forward to now, and being an inventor shows up in every aspect of my life and especially my career. I enjoy solving problems with a straightforward approach of breaking down function at its basic level and reimagining a new way forward.At first, working in photography production environments was about strengthening my skills as a creative professional and eventually one day being paid to be a photographer but something always felt missing. It wasn’t until I began overseeing the operation of it all that I quickly understood that there were many opportunities to accomplish complicated tasks through tech automation development. After that I spent many years learning from really smart peers, curated learning, and gaining valuable insight through, you guessed it, more tinkering.Today, I am immersed in data driven systems that harness automation to execute en mass complicated and traditionally manual organizational processes for digital asset management. Through leveraging technology, we drive efficiencies and unlock the full potential of digital assets. My invention obsession continues through creating tools and processes that never existed before allowing businesses to achieve high volume productivity without sacrificing high quality creativity.
