● Major accomplishments – o Appointed as technical expert for the city mobility management taskforce closely working with the local body, Metropolitan Transport Authority, Metro rail and smart city SPVs.o Prepared the Baseline study on Urban freight for the City, Low carbon action plan which propose short-term and long-term initiatives for decarbonizing freight sector and one of the initiatives is currently being implemented as demonstration project in the city. o Prepared the draft proposal to setup Kerala Freight Transport Authority SPV under the Transport Department, government of Kerala and also for the setting up of Urban freight management committee under the Kochi Metropolitan Transport Authority and Kochi Municipal Corporation which is officially approved.o Conducted several training sessions and capacity building workshop which was attended by more than 120 representatives from the public and private sector.o Presented research-based findings at VREF conference, Evolve expo (Kerala Govt.), MoRth, Department of Logistics (Freight smart cities event), Asia Freight Panel (Race to Zero event), Daring cities event etc. and provided Urban freight management training to the transport department representatives from Govt. of Bangladesh and Nepal.o Trained students from urban and transport planning backgrounds to conduct research and studies which yielded very exceptional work outputs.
