Taking a giant leap of faith in my career, I created a dynamic investment firm in Rincon, Puerto Rico. It is a multifaceted, boutique service that is geared towards rehabbing distressed properties for short and seasonal rentals. I currently remotely manage this business from New York. At the start of my business, and while living on the island, I oversaw 18 properties as well as $150K in property repairs after Hurricane Maria. Today, I manage 4. I respond to, investigate and resolve all tenant concerns to achieve a high occupancy rate on both short and long term rentals. My business requires me to design and implement effective marketing initiatives using various online platforms. I built up my social media accounts for properties with numbers exceeding 10,000 in authentic followers. I have studied to become a licensed and trained professional in Real Estate in both the PR and NY Markets. This enables me to review and approve all prospective inquiries. I have been responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training performance of onsite staff while ensuring that compliance with all rules is being met to protect client’s investment. Most importantly, my job keeps me working to book new clients and financially monitor maintenance programs. In the almost four years of owning my business, I have found that I have a talent for efficiently tracking business trends, and cultivating strong short and long-term tenant relationships. This has led to high occupancy and maximum profitability. I keep a keen eye on my businesses' analytics, and ensure that the monthly maintenance and finance requirements are organized. The longest position I have held since entering the workforce has been at the prestigious Gotham Comedy Club in NYC. My desire to gain proficiency in technology, led me to a stellar position as a Remote Customer Success Manager in the SaaS Marketplace.
