• Develop new sustainable packaging structures, paper and plastic, including compostable, recyclable, and post-consumer (pcr). Currently developing compostable and recyclable material for dry food products. Meet financial and strategic goals of the Annual Operating and Strategic Business Plans. Drive the direction to take to revenue, EBITDA, and grow the market. Define opportunities; provide market analysis, while focusing on growth of ProAmpac’s strategic accounts.• Drive growth for sustainable packaging products. Lead development of new packaging based on customer feedback and market trends in collaboration with external distributors, suppliers, co-packers; and including internal teams: Innovation, R&D, Product Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Communications and leadership team.• Lead assessment of markets, technologies, regulatory trends, and competitive activities. Develop marketing campaigns for tradeshows, webinars, customers, and corporate functions. Perform market research on industry trends, potential markets, selling channels, and provide insights/recommendations to senior leadership. • Utilize sales tools/analytics to track new business and perform market, customer, and business analyses; identify product or customer trends, operational efficiencies/challenges, identify risks, and provide guidance and contingency as needed. Additionally, perform SWOT analysis on new markets; provide competitive intelligence, roadmap, and value proposition.• Work directly with customers and sales reps to educate, promote sustainable products, provide pricing model, and lead business reviews with customers. Led product development projects including inkjet, specialty, and containerboard grades through stage gate process. This includes but is not limited to: idea generation, lab studies, or production; benchmarking and competitive analysis; and execution throughout the stage gate process. • Led development/management of digital printing papers, inkjet coatings, pressure sensitive labels, C1S, and packaging products. • Developed business case, costing analysis, and strategies to ensure business alignment. Led/developed inkjet products including digital presses (thermal/piezo), inks, RFIDs, printed electronics for printing on substrates (paper/thin film). Managed quality for inks and print applications. Key contributor in growing inkjet group from 1 to 16 people.• Developed 16 digital proprietary pigmented inks, resulting in a $22M saving over five years. Scaled-up 12 pigmented inks for piezo printhead and generated$2.8M in new revenue in 2 years. Re-formulated 8 dye-based inks and commercialized 20 dye inks which resulted in $4.5M in revenue. Produced coating and primer for printing on offset paper and reduced cost by 22%.• Managed product lifecycle involving all stakeholders. Managed project from concept to commercial including all project phases. Supervised Management of Change (MOC) process, resulting in less quality defects. Coordinated work with vendors, customers, and production; maintained updates with stakeholders. Communicated the status of projects and led group meetings to review projects, provided updates, and resolved issues. Buffalo-Niagara Falls Area

Developed and tested new fire retardant chemicals for the wood industry. Project leadership for handling daily activities including developing new formulations, testing fire retardant chemicals, sourcing of raw materials, supervised scale-up activities, resolved production problems, and performed the hands-on lab experiments. • Formulated and patented fire retardant product for plywood applications that was certified by UL to be effective and safe. This resolved 10+ years of product development issue, generated new revenue, and new business opportunities.

Formulated dispersions and performed pilot coating trials to develop imaging cylinders and paper transport web. Analyzed failed coatings for root cause of failure, summarized and presented data, lead group discussions, designed future actions, and wrote reports. Supervised scale-up activities, evaluated raw materials, and certified products.
