I am a Senior at Wake Forest University pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and exploring opportunities in psychological research and psychoeducational settings. I am currently conducting my thesis on reframing depression in undergraduates with depressive symptoms alongside my mentor, Dr. Shannon Brady.I have spent the last two summers interning at CrossWalk, a language-based learning differences wing in a local school in Roanoke, Virginia. During my time at CrossWalk, I have interpreted psychoeducational evaluations from a school psychologist and worked with teachers and students on prescriptive teaching accommodations and modifications to ensure academic success. In this role, I have gained experience working with students of varying educational needs and had the opportunity to use my communication and collaboration skills. I have further cultivated these skills in my leadership role with the PIE Lab at Wake Forest by leading an encoding project for an international collaborative study on Thought Processes.I am currently pursuing opportunities to use my research skills, writing abilities, and immersive education experiences to expand psychological findings, particularly concerning cognition, emotion, and educational interventions.
