Managed two departments (Paint and Final Inspection) and 18 employees in a final assembly facility producing custom industrial vehicles for the telecommunication and utility industries. Coached hourly workers how to operate and think “lean”; mentored group leaders to foster an open and proactive working environment

Created visual production trackers for a hand fabrication process to monitor trends and hold employees accountable for their production levels. Conducted research (FMEA and fault tree analysis), testing, and implementation of process improvements and best practices for the Hydraulics and Grinding departments.

Bloomington/Normal, Illinois Area

Managed a team of 23 hourly UAW workers on a robotic welding carbody assembly line. Position included observing line in-process KPIs and CTQ findings and making robot programming adjustments to improve cycle times.
