I led one of Foolproof's three experience design teams, trebling the size of the portfolio & team in my 17 months of leadership. My portfolio included Santander, Shell, the BBC, Etsy and Samsung.My responsibilities in leading this team included:- Owning the business plan for the portfolio - including revenue, profit.- Creating a growth strategy across all accounts.- Representing our portfolio to the Foolproof board.- Leading a team of Service Designers, UX Consultants, Researchers, Strategists, Project & Account Managers.- Developing team culture, rituals and maintaining positive morale. - Hands on sponsorship of major international accounts (in particular Santander & Shell) - including coaching senior stakeholders in the value and ROI of user-centred design, and hands on delivery of business cases and strategies- Triaging and hands-on pitching for competitive new business for the portfolio.- Line management & coaching of direct sales team reports.- Commercial oversight of all accounts and contract negotiation.My wider responsibilities within Foolproof included:- Playing a leading role in the growth of front end development as a new practice for Foolproof. I was responsible for expanding our offering within the sales team, coaching on how to introduce the capability to our clients, and in gaining the board's buy in for growth of this practice.- Being a leading member of the wider Foolproof client services team, sharing best practice and introducing re-usable frameworks/templates (e.g. for proposals, account plans, commercial models).

I joined creative agency Embrace to support them in beginning to offer digital services to their clients. It was my responsibility to embed digital knowledge within the company, to refine the digital proposition and establish effective ways of working. I trained the sales team in adapting their approach to digital sales, and to create a strategy for selling digital services within their accounts. I also led the relationship with a variety of asset management firms - including Hermes and EFGAM.
