The Straz Center, in Tampa, Florida, is one of the largest performing arts centers in the United States and the Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center is a national model for performing arts schools. As Marketing Coordinator for the Patel Conservatory I was responsible for an annual $200,000 budget, managing the marketing operational and strategic plans, all print, online, outdoor and broadcast media buys, direct mailings, emails, publications, promotional items, signage and marketing events. Achievement highlights include:- Successfully sold-out the first Ballet Gala in 2013 at the Center seating 2,610 people & generating $33,000 in revenue in brand new audience segment. - Created and executed marketing plans for pre-professional Conservatory shows at the Straz Center to generate an audience outside of friends and family of students to build a new revenue stream. - CBS Outdoor nominated the 2011 billboard advertising campaign for a national design award. - Planned and marketed multiple outdoor marketing events that included food and commercial vendors with free, family-friendly activities for 800+ people to promote the launch of summer camps and classes growing event enrolment by at least 20% annually. - My photographs were regularly printed and credited in the Tampa Bay Times and Tampa Tribune featuring guest artists, shows & classes.
