This meant I:- Developed statistical data analysis skills;- Excelled in data labelling, building behavioural models for projects;- Debugged & refactored code in Pycharm.Achieved a Distinction in my MSc thesis, supervised by Prof. Rick Cooper, 'Task-switching and cognitive dysfunction: A computational model of the Stroop Task' to understand the characteristics of Parkinson’s Disease'.- Simulated computational models of Parkinson's Disease patients' symptoms to better understand the condition;- Developed knowledge of SQL and linear algebra;- Built complex algorithms and scripts in MATLAB from secondary data (experimental/behavioural) from Parkinson's patients;- Conducted in-depth literature review on executive dysfunction in neurodegenerative conditions.My keen interest in philosophy, in addition to 10+ years' experience of writing for freelance and editorial publications, led me to write my book, 'Fitlosophy', in which I combine psychological research and philosophical theories to support goal-orientated behaviour. 'Fitlosophy' is on sale at Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and Amazon, and has a 100% rating of 4* and up.I have a number of creative outlets which help nurture my love of learning and exploration. I have a Substack, in which I write - and overthink. I am writing my own fantasy novel, and regularly paint and draw. Further, I love training - and teaching - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a beloved sport which has boosted my resilience and problem-solving skills.
