Being part of the local team of a huge global media feels nice. My job is to tell the stories of some of the most interesting businesses in Bulgaria on the pages of Forbes, both in print and online. My focus, as per usual, is on tech and its connection to the real world. I also cover the entertainment industry which is more and more connected to the tech industry, so it is a natural fit.

The title tells it but I was contributing to MobileBulgaria.com's editorial team, mostly with product reviews and opinion pieces. It is very entertaining and enlightening to try and test the latest gadgets personally and then to share the experience with the world.

As the Editor-in-Chief of the print HiComm magazine I had to oversee basically everything about it, not just the content. This included managing a team of internal and external writers and designers, making peace with the sales team and being the sole representer of HiComm outside of the media. I kept writing a bit but I was mostly focused on editing and management. My favourite thing was HiComm #200.

HiComm Magazine is the biggest tech magazine and one of the biggest tech media in Bulgaria. I was covering some of the biggest tech events in Bulgaria and Europe such as MWC and IFA, with both text and video. I wrote many reviews of smartphones, laptops, smart accessories, etc. I did interviews, movie and series reviews, opinion pieces, etc. As a member of EISA, HiComm had some responsibilities that fell mostly on me, including representing the media at the annual meetings. EISA was a European and today is a global collaboration group of editors from over 28 countries who celebrate the best products in consumer electronics. Mobile News Bulgaria was a mid-tier online tech media, mostly focused on mobile technologies. I contributed with news reporting, tech reviews, long-form articles on the industry and all sorts of written material. I also managed the social media channels of the media.

WebCafe is one of the biggest websites in Bulgaria, at the time it was mostly focused on lifestyle topics, although it had some coverage of political events. As an external contributor, I wrote mostly articles about music, including some reviews and articles about music festivals and other music-related events.

This was a new position for the Bulgarian office of Saatchi & Saatchi, one of the most successful advertising agencies in the country. I was involved with almost all digital projects made for clients of the agency with great focus on Facebook content creation, coordination with the team and clients and pages management. I worked with clients such as Samsung, HTC, Delikates Zhitnica, Serdika Center.

Pari was Bulgaria’s biggest business daily at the time. I was a tech reporter and my responsibility was covering everything tech in and outside the country. Even then my focus was consumer tech and big tech companies, with occasional reviews. Aside from that I often jumped to the culture pages for interviews or other music-related projects and not as often I commented on the social and political events of the day.
