Having briefly worked in the Hospitality, Security and Food Production sectors in the past, for the last decade I am active in the Environmental sector.In particular, I am a City & Guilds certified Legionella Risk Assessor with an eleven-year experience in the UK Water Treatment Industry. I specialise in Legionella water risk assessments of domestic hot and cold water systems and producing the reports, control schemes and schematics in accordance with the LCA ACoP L8 and the HSE HSG274 Parts 2&3 documents/guidelines. While working for water treatment companies, I have risk assessed a wide range of different types & sizes of sites. Other duties included:* Managing accounts,* Carrying out monthly temperature monitoring visits to clients as part of legionella control,* Carrying out site audits and asset inspections* Producing water hygiene/ legionella management control schemes and logbooks,* Delivering Legionella awareness training courses both within the company as well for contractors/customers,* Performing engineer assistant duties on remedial works and* Collecting water samples for microbiological analysis (LP, TVC, Pseudomonas, Coliforms, E-Coli etc).I am currently focusing on the future of Legionella Control, i.e. the use of digitisation & automation platforms for Risk Assessing and Monitoring. I am a competent, overall & complete operator and data handler of the LegionellaDossier system (Web portal, Inspect & Control apps) ranging from setup, administration to end user/risk assessor level and looking for an office administration role in this field that can utilise my skills, knowledge and experience to its fullest.With a continuous self-motivated drive, a practical and realistic way of thinking, an eye for detail, a result driven philosophy, I am a firm believer that life is a never-ending learning process for those willing to learn and evolve.
