Started in the Product/Support team, I moved to the Services team keeping close relation with the Pre-sales team involving me in the different aspects of the life cycle of the AFM Actuarial modelling tool. • Main consultancy projects (AFM):- Implementation lead of the Solvency 2 Standard Formula project for a big European insurance group and its worldwide entities. Three-year project involving project planning, work allocation, supervision of junior consultants, implementation (non-proportional reinsurance, counterparty default) and regular project management activities. - Support the implementation of the Solvency II Stochastic ALM modelling project of an East European insurance company. Two-year project advising the Client on best modelling approach.• Deliver training and workshops to clients in countries throughout Europe and beyond.• Worked with the product and sales teams in maintaining AFM client relationships and creating service proposals.• Upgrade / update standard models (Solvency 2, ALM, Country specific - French, US)• Answer Client queries on actuarial modelling issues• Support the pre-sales team with responses to RFI/RFP, PoC models’ development and presentation

Part of the Product team, my work is focus on the insurance side of the company's solution : Algo Financial Modeller (AFM), Algo Audit and Compliance (AAC) and AFM Enterprise (AFME).• Involved in the modelling of two US products (Deferred Annuities & Universal Life)• Updated the Helper Tab program (Solvency2) according to the L2 text• Deliver client training and support on modelling issues (French & English)

Left to learn English and to discover a new culture. • Road trip around Australia and traveling in Thailand, Hong-Kong, Cambodia, New Zealand and Fiji • Settled down in Melbourne for the second year, I’ve done different jobs to live. I supervised some assignments and those made me improve my management and organization skills’. I also got two positions in the field of finance: • Performed Client Scenarios, a three years sales forecast and income statement for an Australian start-up • Filling clerk for Heinz Watties Australia.

Part of the Life Actuarial team, I performed deterministic embedded value calculations and associated analysis on the savings portfolio (approx. EUR€ 1.5M). I also worked on improving the cumbersome workflow process including:• updating actuarial models on software Prophet• automating the recurrent data flow processes (extraction, reconciliation, mapping)• developing an efficiency tool used for the management of six insurance products

Internship during which I developed a VBA programme linking with Market data and pricing a fixed income assets portfolio leveraging the daily process in tracking and monitoring trading positions.

• Collaborated with Actuary on analysis of the loss ratio of the long and short-term disability portfolio to assess the profitability of the company’s different insurance products• Created programs enabling to build a short-term disability experience table which were used by the department to manage the portfolio and perform pricing

Supported the C.E.O/ business owner and was responsible for the company's invoices, payroll data, banking reconciliation and cost accounting using Sage and Saari software's.
