• I am an experienced Senior Manager, leading the Energy & Resources Industry and responsible for quality and managing the growth of the industry and practice. The group serves around 80+ clients with 70,000 hours of audit work on a Global Delivery model. I also lead a few large clients within the Consumer and Industrial Products (CIP) industry.• I play a key role in various practice management initiatives and business development strategies as part of providing excellent global offshore delivery. I work closely with the Risk Partner to ensure compliance with US India risk management policies and procedures. I also spend significant time in people management and their career development in roles of a counselor, mentor and buddy.• I have been a Senior Manager for 4+ years and am a important part of the USI leadership team. I am also a potential Director candidate and is currently in the process of making the presentations to the internal leadership.• I spend 60% of my time in technical accounting, internal inspections and other firm quality initiatives and 40% on global delivery management.• I lead quite a few quality initiatives for the practice that includes setting up a Center of Excellence for goodwill impairment testing and business process controls.• I am extensively involved in performing internal inspections. Internal Inspections is a process initiated by Deloitte National Office, Wilton, US whereby approximately 200 engagements are selected each year that go through a robust review process of their working papers to ensure compliance with PCAOB and AICPA standards.• I also lead the Business Combination contract review group. The group is responsible for summarization and accounting analysis of Acquisition transactions.• I am the primary point of contact for all IFRS efforts and have strong IFRS knowledge.• I lead a team of around 40 professionals on various global delivery and quality initiatives and report directly to Partners in USI and US.

In the role of Audit Manager, I was responsible for managing various attest engagements in E&R and CIP industries. The primary responsibilities included setting team expectations, engagement management, detailed review of the working papers, identifying and resolving audit and accounting issues, co-ordinating with the Client and Group audit teams, completing reporting deliverables, meeting reporting timelines and managing time & cost, ensure timely billing to client and close out the engagement as per archival procedures.
