Ever since I was a kid my passion was building things. I still remember the first time I opened a toy car when I was 6 years old and I was amazed. From then on I never stopped learning how machines work and building things. I participated in various science fairs and won district and state-level competitions and represented my school in a national level science fair and presented my project “Agriculture Robot”. I was introduced to computer programming and learned how software and hardware together could create miracles. I decided to pursue a bachelor of engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering since it had a blend of all subjects which I was interested in. During my college days, I participated in and won many national-level competitions, few of the projects that my team presented were Automatic Garbage Segregator, Smacle- a Smart Hybrid Electric Bicycle. I started my career as a consultant healthcare start-up called Bempu Health and joined a full-time employee later. BEMPU Health is a Bangalore-based for-profit impact organization that develops life-saving products for children in low-resource parts of the world. I was part of a team that built a neonatal apnea monitor and auto-correction device called ApneBoot. I was responsible for the engineering aspects of the product. Currently, I have 3 years of professional experience in the product development field. In this period I have been exposed to end-to-end product development from writing product requirements, designing electronic systems, firmware development, writing test protocols and executing them as per regulatory requirements, manufacturing documents, product sale demos, lead generation. I have also Co-founded a startup called Sourcenode Pvt Ltd, with a vision and mission of building future-ready IoT products and platforms which are sustainable and could make lives easier for customers and Industries.I have also been passionate about participating in social initiatives. I have been volunteering for the past 4 years with a non-profit organization called Bhumi. Bhumi is one of India's largest volunteering organizations with a major focus on education. I have been volunteering with the Yantra(Robotics) project. Yantra educates kids from shelter homes and the government schools in STEM and Robotics. I have contributed to Bhumi’s mission in various capacities.
