Mr. Sourav Mukherjee is a professional turned social entrepreneur. He launched Kolkata Society for Cultural Heritage 10years back to promote sustainable environment. He is also the Chairman of West Bengal Cyclists' Association. He also started promoting cycle as a green sport and medium of transport. Sourav spoke about cycling at United Nations, Department of Economic and Social Affairs on the occasion, of the celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace 2023, which this year has as a global theme “Scoring for People and the Planet”. KSCH also became the first organization in India to initiate advocacy for the promotion of Cycling as a sport at United Nations.
