Responsible for the computation of the estimates of the National Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) Baseline Report released by NITI Aayog. Authored the chapter on methodology, and prepared all visualizations featured in the report as well as the overall layout and cover design of the report itself.Worked closely with the Director, Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) and her team to select poverty indicators based on thorough qualitative review, establish the data pipeline, and subsequently develop the STATA programs that were used in the preparation of the National MPI estimates from the microdata of the National Family Health Survey.Coordinated with 12-member ministries of the Government of India who were part of the MPI Coordination Committee to aid in the preparation of outreach, monitoring and reform action plans to reduce multidimensional poverty in India.

In charge of the communications unit at the Institute of Leadership Excellence and Governance (ILEG). Lead a 4 member team responsible for ILEG’s visual design and communications, content management, brand identity development, and stakeholder engagement. Developed and maintained the internal style guide for ILEG. Designed and implemented creative guidelines, concept-to-print workflows, and templates to standardize publications / visualizations across teams.

Visual Communications Specialist at the Vision Management Unit, Andhra Pradesh State Development Planning Society, Planning Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh. I was part of the task team reporting to the Secretary of Planning to deliver high priority projects and presentations requested by the Chief Minister on the status of the Vision 2029 framework.Visual design, illustrations and data visualization for projects which were released by the Chief Minister: SDG Status Report for Andhra Pradesh (2018); Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) Report (2018 & 2019); Green Vision for Andhra Pradesh; Life-Cycle Approach; Real-Time Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.Layout design, data visualization, and copy editing for the Vision 2029 (Version 2.0 2019-2024) document. The document was tabled in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly by the Chief Minister and unveiled by the Speaker. Developed the wireframe, user flows, and visual design for the SDG Monitoring Dashboard for Andhra Pradesh. The dashboard is the only state-level real-time visualization tool available for SDG status monitoring in India.Translated and contextualized comic books and educational material on SDGs developed by PCI Media and World’s Largest Lesson. The comics were developed by Comics Uniting Nations. Proposals for the inclusion of the material were submitted to relevant departments for consideration.

Worked as a Visual Communications Specialist reporting to the Planning Secretary on a mutually decided part-time contract (as this was concurrent to my full-time Masters Programme in Development Studies at TISS). I was a part of multiple project teams within the "Vision Management Unit" providing support on visual design, data visualization and copyediting. Projects:1) Layout design, illustrations and data visualization for the first edition of the Andhra Pradesh Multidimensional Poverty Index Report (2017) - in collaboration with the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI). The report was released by the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It features in the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network as well as on OPHI’s website.2) Designed the promotional posters showcasing the work done by the Government of Andhra Pradesh on Sustainable Development Goals. The posters were displayed at India's presentation at the "Fifth Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development: Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies".
